Otis Winstead, VPS, WCPS, NPS (he/him) is a native of Pittsburgh. He and his wife, Rumyrtle, have seven children and fourteen grandchildren. Otis is a Vietnam Era Army Veteran. He serves as the president and CEO of Great Lakes Dryhootch, a non-profit Veterans organization. Otis is also a Veteran peer support specialist and a lead community health worker who provides support for the Milwaukee community. He primarily works within community engagement and focuses his efforts on marginalized populations. Otis feels that his purpose in life is to encourage individuals and communities to solve frontline problems, make suggestions, reduce inefficiencies, and pursue new initiatives.
Otis earned a B.S. in community engagement education and an A.A.S. in paralegal studies.
