Utilizing the All of Us Research Program for Substance Use and Mental Health Research
Join National Institute on Drug Abuse and the All of Us Research Program on Friday, Sept 29th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EDT for an engaging webinar entitled, “Utilizing the All of Us Research Program for Substance Use and Mental Health Research.” This webinar will provide you tools to learn how to become an All of Us researcher, demonstrate how you can take your research to the next level using the All of Us Researcher Workbench, and hear exciting presentations on addiction and mental health research using data from the All of Us Research Program.

All of Us Booth and Workshop at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting
In the “Genomic Analysis in the All of Us Researcher Workbench” workshop at the ASHG Annual Meeting, attendees will learn about the Researcher Workbench and the program. They will participate in a guided demonstration of how to use genomic data in the Workbench. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session about the Workbench. The workshop will be held on November 1 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. ASHG Annual Meeting attendees can also visit exhibit booth #1246 to chat with the All of Us team about the Workbench. The booth will be open daily on November 2, 3, and 4.

All of Us Booth and Workshop at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium
The “Phenome Wide Association Studies (PheWAS) in the All of Us Researcher Workbench” workshop will present an overview of the Researcher Workbench and the program. It will also feature a guided demonstration of a PheWAS study with genomics and electronic health record data in the Workbench. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session about the Workbench. The workshop will be held on November 11 from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. CT at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. AMIA Annual Symposium attendees can also stop by exhibit booth #210 to chat with the All of Us team about the Workbench. The booth will be open daily on November 12, 13, and 14.

All of Us Booth and Workshop at NIH Research Festival
From September 18 to 22, 2023, the NIH Intramural Research Program will host the NIH Research Festival in Building 10 on the NIH main campus. The event includes lectures by early-career investigators, workshops, poster sessions, an NIH information fair, and more. Stop by the All of Us exhibit booth on September 18 to learn more about leveraging the All of Us dataset for your research. The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI)’s Cohort Analytics Core will also be leading an All of Us workshop on September 18 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET. All of Us Deputy Chief Medical and Scientific Officer Sheri Schully, Ph.D., will give an introduction to All of Us during the workshop. Interested NIH researchers can register through the NIH library.

Applied Genomics and Biological Technologies (AGBT) Precision Health Meeting Workshop: Leveraging the All of Us Researcher Workbench to Advance Precision Health
In this workshop at the AGBT Precision Health Meeting, attendees will learn about the extensive data available on the All of Us Researcher Workbench. They will also complete an example genomic analysis. The workshop will be held on September 7 from 2:45 – 4:15 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

National Medical Association (NMA) Annual Convention Workshop: Advancing Health Equity: All of Us Research Symposium Introduces Researcher Workbench to Underrepresented Researchers and Graduate Students
All of Us Chief Engagement Officer Karriem Watson, D.H.Sc., M.S., M.P.H.; Cathy Shyr, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center; Samantha Stewart, M.S., Research Projects Coordinator at the All of Us Data and Research Center; and Priscilla Pemu, M.D., MBBS, MSCR, FACP, Professor in the Morehouse School of Medicine, will lead this workshop at the NMA Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly. The workshop will address the All of Us Research Program’s commitments to diversity and equity and feature an interactive Workbench demonstration. It will be held on July 31 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA.
